History is not just for text books. There is so much history to see and explore in person. Whether it's an old battleground, ancient ruins, historic buildings, or artifacts in a museum, history is all around us.
If you are fortunate enough to travel, there is so much to explore. Standing on the site where historic events took place is awe-inspiring. To see the sites as our ancestors saw them and to walk in their footsteps. There is something humbling about standing among the ruins that were once a thriving society. The art and engineering are incredible. What they built thousands of years ago still stands today.

Pompeii -History Rush
We can learn so much by seeing the world through their eyes. Visiting ruins of places like Pompeii is humbling. The art, the architiecture, and witnessing first hand how they lived. Seeing Mount Vesuvius towering in the distance and imagining what that day must have been like. Standing among the preserved ruins of the city and just taking it all in.

Stonehenge-History Rush
There are so many amazing sites to explore, from Stonehenge to the ancient Pyramids to the castles of Europe. If a trip abroad is not an option, just look close to home. History is all around us. Many do not even know the amazing events that took place in their own city or town. Start local, learn more about where you are, and begin to look a little further and expand your knowledge.
A visit to one of the many wonderful history museums around the world is well worth it. To see an object and imagine that something that was part of everyday life at the time is now a priceless artifact. Museums help to preserve our past and provide a unique opportunity to see and learn about how we arrived at our place in the timeline.
Don't just read about history. Have an adventure. Go out and experience history!
